   Theresa A. Mix as a widow of Ira,
   living at 25 Maplewood Avenue.
~1900 census at Libertyville, Libertyville Twp,
    Lake Co, ILL.
   She is living with her son Eben Mix.
~1910 census, dtd 12 May, Teresa's age
   is 88, she would turn 89 that year.
 This puts her birth year in 1821 which conflicts with her death certificate (1822).

Obituary -- Olpe Optimist, Olpe Kansas -- dtd 17 Nov 1911
   "Mrs. Teressa Mix, mother of Mrs. W. B. Nelson [Drucilla], died at the home of the latter at 1 o'clock on the morning of November 16, 1911. Death was caused by the infirmities attending upon age.
   The deceased was born on September 8, 1822 at Lancaster, Kentucky. When a girl she moved with her parents to LaPorte, [Floyd Co] Indiana. Some years later she was married at that place to Ira Mix, and husband and wife went to Waukegan, Ill. to make their home. Ten years ago in their Illinois home the husband died and six years ago the widow came to live with her daughter, Mrs. W. [Ward] B. Nelson, and has made that her home ever since. The deceased was for 50 years a member of the Baptist church.
   The funeral services were conducted at the Olpe M. E. Church by the Rev. C. H. Gramly at two o'clock this afternoon, Interment was made in Pleasant Ridge cemetery."
